Recently The Flying Start written by Bram Moelker was launched. The Flying Start is Part 1 in the Victorious Living series. The book was conceived by pastor Moelker when he noticed the need among seekers and new believers in his church for a book that explains clearly how one becomes a Christian.

What followed was an extensive search for a book written in Dutch that would meet this need. Some books were found that highlighted parts of the Biblical born-again experience, but none gave a complete study of the subject. The books that did were not at the entry level that many people usually need in the beginning. This led to the inescapable conclusion: he had to write that book himself! The end result of this process was the book De Vliegende Start in Dutch quickly followed by the English translation The Flying Start.

The subtitle of the book has been termed quite appropriately: “Well begun is half done!” A good start is of crucial importance for everything that follows … (click here for rest of article).
